Munenori served three generations of Tokugawa shogun, and later rose to the rank of daimyo.<br>While it is true that Munenori was a master swordsman, it was in the arena of politics that his mastery of heih\u014d, the martial arts, was most dramatically expressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone margin-0\"><a href=\"https:\/\/demo.arches.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/001t01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/demo.arches.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/001t01-288x300.jpg\" alt=\"\u5c3e\u5f35\u67f3\u751f\u958b\u7956 \u5175\u5eab\u52a9\u5229\u53b3\" class=\"wp-image-58\"\/><\/a><figcaption>Founder of Owari Yagy\u016b, Hy\u014dgonosuke Toshitoshi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The founder of the Owari Yagy\u016b line was Yagy\u016b Hy\u014dgonosuke Toshitoshi. Toshitoshi succeeded Sekish\u016bsai as the third headmaster of Yagy\u016b Shinkage Ry\u016b, and then served the first head of the Owari Tokugawa domain, Tokugawa Yoshinao, as his mentor in heih\u014d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shinkage Ry\u016b has been passed down to the present through Sekish\u016bsai\u2019s descendants of the Owari Yagy\u016b line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Headmaster and Family Head<\/strong><br>The current headmaster, Yagy\u016b K\u014dichi, is the 22nd headmaster of&nbsp; Kamiizumi Ise-no-kami&#8217;s&nbsp; Shinkage Ry\u016b , and the 16th family head of the Owari Yagy\u016b line. These lineages are shown in the list below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHeadmasters\u201d are those who have served as the head teachers and leader of Shinkage Ry\u016b. This includes people outside the Yagy\u016b family.
